Hi All Today Aron, Sevki ( New member with a Monster 696) and myself met in Fairy meadow for the proposed July 11 ride. We rode about 250kms, mostly in the rain, mostly on Southern Highlands backroads. Crazy you might say but we all had our reasons. Sevki has a new bike and he's so keen he put up with wet sand shoes in the middle of a highlands winter. Bet he buys a pair of riding boots this week. I had just done the first week of the school holidays unassisted while my wife was away on a work trip. So riding in the rain was fun for me, and Aron just bloody loves riding his Ducati, rain, hail or shine. Just as a side note. We visited lots of motorcycle haunts today. Stanwell tops, Jamberoo pub, The Robbo Pie shop, Picton Pub. We saw lots of Japanese bikes, even more Harleys but not one other Ducati. Although there was an unconfirmed sighting of a SCDOC member at Jamberoo Pub. Here's photos of the ride. Mark N

Mark excellent shots of what turned out to be a great ride on an otherwise miserable day ...."moody" ... that bloke who took the photos of yourself and Sevki must be good :-)
As you know we caught up with a few boys with from the GTR /XU1 club with the odd "brock special" thrown in for good measure, at Picton pub (a sparky that I know from work - completely unplanned) ... now these cars could be considered as rare and valuable bits of kit only driven to church on Sunday but the consensus was ... "what are you gonna do lock it in a shed so someone else can enjoy it when you're dead... use it" !!!
