Lads...im up here in Bangkok battling red shirt protesters, ducking bullets and repelling baton charges....so it was a surprise this morning when i got a call from some guy in Sydney asking me if i previously owned a 999.
Anyhow...to cut the chase...its seems this guy was in negotiations with some guy trying to pass off his 49,000 klm 2003, 999 as having been owned by the President of the SCDOC...imagine my surprise...especially as Ive never owned a red 999 and my YELLOW 999 has found a new home and is still very much in love with one of our club members. Anyhow the guy who rang me had the great common sense to follow up with me as he must have smelled a dirty, filthy lying, conviving, misrepresenting RAT...if you get a chance I think the bike this idiot is trying to pass off is on Bikepoint.com so feel free to send him an enquiry about the bike and ask him about the ownership history of the bike like I have...will be interested to see if he replies....moral of the story..buyer beware!!!
