Hey Nev, how's it going? I'm sure sooner or later we will get a ride with least 4 or 5, or maybe more turning up. In saying that. I'll be off the road till, mmm not sure when. Engine was removed last weekend, due to a couple of tight closing shims, heads off & just looked inside. Yes, there is scope for the release of more pony power to the deaf, dumb & blind kids. Just a bit of a tickled here & massage there. In saying that, once back there will a leaner, aggressive louder bevel contender, looking to belt some water cooled belts, lol. yeah as if, yeah! I guess I'll have to go looking for the turddo charged 1300 GSXR that frequencies Macc Pass, in the straight sections he just burnt any thoughts I had of getting passed, in the tight blind stuff he was fat, short & stocky, he was bald, Jerry! I really like to see around a corner, know what I mean. I knew better, Wes went passed him, smiling, like he just ordered Chickhen Parmigiana & that he'd be back to pick it up on the way back., after having a Pie, and coming back down the pass. I was left ordering Garlic bread, only to sniff the whistling turbine, as loud as conti"s are @ 6500, I could also hear Hiroshima Mon amour being stuffed, forced to breath deeper & harder the poor thing. He was brave, and really worked hard, and should be very ashamed of himself not to have put a greater distance between a turbine and a 50Hp bevel Ducati. So, catch up in the new year some time guys. ;D with 55 HP lol. Ciao spaghetti heads. Dave.

Sounds like you had fun with the non-ducati rider down Mcquire pass. I went for the ride to Marulan (through Bundanoon) . Stooped at the park at the northern end of town and meet a group of women ( 15+) riding sports bikes (R6's, CBX's etc) they come from the northern beaches in Sydney and have a organized ride once a month. Talk about organized they had tea and coffee with scones with fresh whipped cream and jam. It was refreshing to meet a fun group of people that enjoy riding, although the conversation subjects are certainly different between blokes and woman bike riders . We rode back along the old Hume H'way to Camden with them where i turned off.
P.S Are you doing the work on your bike or are you getting a shop to do it? If you are doing it can i come around and watch, learn. cheers Nev

Nev, No need for apology, I tried to make an effort at least for a pre xmas ride. I don't have access to the forum very often especially on week ends. But I did expect a few more riders to turn up. But i suppose this time of the year every body get very busy. maybe next time we should make a pre xmas ride a few months earlier
Urio
