I did the snowy ride on the weekend with a bunch of mates. Lots of good times. The weather was as good as it gets. Blue skies, dry roads and no wind. I got rained on as I pulled off the exit ramp at Figtree on dusk last night.
We hit some fog on Mac![]()
[/img]quarie Pass and rode through the aftermath of a head on between a car and bike about half way down which was a surreal scene in the fog with all the flashing lights and emergency workers. Especially after1600 k's in 3 days and then running into that just moments from home. Anyone hear how the rider ended up. By the body language of the other rider we guessed he was doing OK.
Here's a couple of shots from the mountains. The shot of the 1198 would have been a much better image if I'd had Wes there coming over that crest on the back wheel.
