Rizoma bars

I'm probably being over-cautious.

Recently got Rizoma tapered bars and wondering how to remove the hard plug in both ends - without damaging bars.

Anyone come across these??

If they are the bars I'm thinking of with the plastic inserts in the ends, place the ends of the bars in just boiled water and leave for about 30sec. the metal heats up and expands making it very easy to remove the ends.
