AGM and Committee elections

Well gents..the club is fast coming up to its 2 year anniversary which means its AGM time and time to elect some new committee members.

1. I suggest that we hold the AGM on the second weekend of January 2010.

2. The following committee positions will be spilled and open for nominations from full financial members.

- President : Currently occupied by me
- Secretary : Currently occupied by Dean Harris
- Webmaster : Currently occupied by Nev Bateman

At this stage I will not be standing for re-election unless requested to do so by a quorum of members. I've been outreageously busy with work this year and the total Klm's Ive ridden is less than 1000klm on all three bikes. Its not fair to those who have a genuine interest in building this club that the leader of the operation is not as available regularly or as involved as is necessary.

I think the club needs some fresh blood to lead it and it needs to be someone who has some spare time and can build on the foundation we have created and take this enterprise to the next level.

Dean and Neville will Im sure make their intentions about seeking re-election known over the coming weeks but in the interim please feel free to give me a bell on my mobile or drop me an email if you have any questions.

Dean and I will work on finalising the clubs financial statements shortly and I will also put together my last annual report for the web site.
