lets see fibreglass matting,resin, hardener oh a mould, some gelcoat..what ,and why ? try a surfboard manufacturer for supplies...i know theres one in industrial rd ,oak flats. hj

Hi John Thanks for the responce.Smart a??. I was more after info on what materal e.g alloy foil, blue tape, glade wrap. to cover the bike frame to make the seat pan. do you use wax or is their somthing else as a release agent for when you remove the glass. Just someone that has done this type of job before. cheers Nev

hey nev, smart ass ? me.. never...ha ha ha .. been a very long time since i made a mould.but do remember making it out of MDF,and then gelcoating. dont recall the release agent.when are you doing it? going back up the central coast in a few weeks,outlaws neighbour up there does a lot of surfboard repairs on the side,I could find out if you like....hj

Thanks for the offer HJ.... I have a idea that might work and not cost alot if it doesn't. I will make it out of 3 ply wood and expander foam. cut it to shape and use this as the mould. cheers Nev. P.S already done the wood part.
