Hey guys just putting this idea out there, had discussed this with Nev and Alex, the concept isnt all that original but how about a ride where the "riders" have to cover the capacity of their bike in k's over the 24hours prior.
ie 1198 covers 1198 K's, the Gt 1000 and other sport classics cover 1000k's, a 620monster cover 620k etc ... its up to the rider to decide his way of getting to the final stop as long as they cover the k's (or buy some back)
The date and final stop are TBA, but perhaps we could do an annual run to a place such as Tathra or Eden and raise some money for a charity (my fave would be the Snowy ride).
There are options for doing fewer k's , buy them back with a donation or split them with a pillion (definition of a pillion is open to discussion - can be inflatable
) the basic idea is to have some fun and raise some money.
And to keep things safe - if you cop a speeding fine you pay the fine ... twice ... once to Mr plod, the other to the charity ... but none of us speed so that wont be an issue ;D
