Gday Nev...greetings from Madrid airport on my way Bangkok....yeps its been a long time since Ive been qble to ride ...about 8 weeks ...and it has nothing to recomend it...Ive got another 4 weeks of physio before i will be able to properly straighten the arm and even then i have to take it easy....so I figure I'll be back on the bike by the end of September...3 months start to finish. arrgghhhhhh!!!!

Yeah 3 months is a long time... I keep hurting my right shoulder and at one point could not lift my arm any higher than my chest or around to reach my wallet (that was the good part) I was blaming it on the outrigger paddling i do and the off i had on the bike... I eventually went to the doc's and after ultrasounds etc. i was told i had a frozen shoulder? caused by the dislocation (bike)and the tendons i had torn while paddling in a race.they told me NOT use it for 3 months including riding a bike which i rode home from the doc's.Two days later was the bevel ride, Moral for the story: Go to the Doctors earlier. Keep riding it only hurts when you laugh How much better i can be when I'm fit.
