Ride For Mental Illness Awareness 9th August 2009
"Did you know that 1 in 5 people could develop some kind of Mental Illness throughout their life?
This one person could be you, a friend or a loved one so come along, join our ride and be part of raising awareness for Mental llness. ..
All proceeds of this event will be donated to ARAFMI Illawarra
(Association of Relatives & Friends of the Mentally Ill) .
ARAFMI is a not for profit organization which relies heavily on fundraising within the community ."
When: 9th August 2009
Where: Starting at Oaks Hotel./ McDonalds Albion Park Rail. Participants to arrive at
8.00am for registration and a sausage sizzle. Departing 9.00am riding to Greenwell Point
Hotel and returning to Kevin Walsh oval, Jamberoo approximately 2.00pm for refreshments,
activities, auction & prizes. Families invited to Jamberoo earlier in the day for activities
including BBQ, jumping castles,)face paintings, clown & other attractions.
Cost: $20.00 donation per bike which puts you in the draw to win plenty of prizes
Purchase your tickets early from the allocated registration points below or
register on the day! !
