Count me in, I did the ride from Sydney to Goulburn to Oberon (and home via Katoomba) via Taralga and the Abacrombe river crossing about a week ago ... it was snowing :-( .. cold as ... had a nice stop over in Tarana for lunch. Top run :-) Berko

Hey azabeko, thanks dude for the snow warning, I was up Kurrajong Heights on Wednesday retrieving 37 tonnes of travel tower, that would go, then stop, then go and , yes stop again. 5.5 hours later this hunk of junk was back at our Unanderrra depot. Thanks again for the weather report. This ride is just scheduled for the wrong time of the year.
Dave.

Agree about the timing Dave, Dress warm and it should be OK - I've done the "snowy ride" when it snowed .. but wasnt all that cold, this run was just freezing last w/end ... its the cold hands that are/were the problem ... had on thermals + draggin jeans and a set of over pants, plus t-shirts (short and long) thermal vest and leather jacket with liner .. so core body OK ... but my hands were so cold the brakes and clutch became an issue ( I had on a set of spidi "h2out" - wet gloves) ... still froze the fingers ... the run into the abacrombe river isnt one you'd want to get wrong or do with black ice etc... but the stretch form Goulburn to Black springs ( about 40k out of Oberon) is such an epic run it just has to be done .. Its Putty like in its epic-ness :-) Aron
