The 'X27 Ride' Ok the ride can either start at 8am North Gate Maccas or 10am North Gate Maccas. (We can meet the Sydney Contingant at Bald Hill if we really dont wont to go there, I'll need Notice though to tell them.) At 8am We depart through the National Park to Silvania to pick up the Sydney Contingent. Back through the National Park to Austi, up Bulli Pass, Down Mt Ousley to North Gate Maccas or more precisley the Servo next door to refuel. From there we head up MT Keira to Douglas Park, Nattai, Picton (Coffee) Douglas Park, Appin and Finish at Bald Hill.

Well there X man, this sounds like feasible way to spend a Sunday, and hopefully I'll be up to it on the day. The early version has a bit more appeal, let lose with less traffic on the way there, then y'know what to expect on the way back. An advantage so to speak. Any way, what every goes down, I'll hook in. Post up a time, if not send me an SMS.
Dave.

Hey Mr Black, Im with you on the early version. If we leave Maccas at 8am, we should arrive at Southerland in roughly 50-60 minutes. I dont mid pulling into Bald hill on the way up or back to pick up some of the westoners (if any).

Hey guys ... Would love to join in but might be on call for work ... quick tip , the northern section of the royal (between twin bridges and Warumbul rd turn off) has some dirt due to road works, Its that horrible red clay stuff thats slippery as when wet. I've got a work mate who lives at Bundeena so will post an up date. Any Idea what time at Bald hill for the run north to Sylvania? 8:30 ish ??

Yeah I found out about the road works a couple of weeks ago, it was about 6pm, pitch black with my titnted visor on, I was cruising at a 160kmh when the road ran out luckily the damp clay was girppy enough to pull up. It was only a couple of hundred meters and all in a straight line, I passed a few cars. It was new road before the twisty bits so I still had some fun there.
What ever the condition is up there, I'll have to let the Sydney crew make up there minds wether they want to go through it. Its all part of the fun for me.

Hahaha, Never doubted you Mr Black, Just ribbing some of the DOC guys at EC last Sunday. The track was wet so I went out hoon'ing, still hit 250kmh on a slimy track, and busted out a few 200kmh smokies down the straight...not to mention every other corner. ;D
