There appears to be some general confusion amongst some members about the meeting,I assume by the up coming committee meeting,that it is a general meeting and that all members may attend,as opposed to a committee meeting which is attended exclusively by the elected committee.can somebody clarify this, thanks john

certainly i will accept some responsibility,, and we should at least see a few more ducatisti attend tonights meeting {if the amount of times its been read is any indication,more likely the same people reading a multitple of times},with no legitimate excuses as to where it is{ur10 cleared that one up},....and who may attend !!!! .someone needs to start a new thread,this ones gone to too many pages......john

Its hard to see a smile or hear a tone of voice in a email, It was meant in good humor (the no sermon comment). As I am more of a blue collar worker then a meeting organizer i thought meetings where pretty much all the same (Committee,general, special etc, (everyone goes)) So lets have a drink tonight

Guys.....ive just read through the string and granted its a late response but i agree with everyone...hows that for a bet each way.. ;D ..we do need to have regular club meetings which I think we've sorted out.
The event calendar is still a little scratchy and i think we need to have rides published at least 3 to four months out. Im opissed off that I have made the last two due to my travel and other commitments. Ideally we need to have a few more rides south to give our extended memebership a chance to get involved.
Can you put your creative hats on andgive Urios some suggestions...I fancy one ride should be a day ride down to Batemans Bay....

unfortunately we are heading towards winter and therefore cold and shorter day light, I am not too familiar with routes past Bateman Bay except for the road to Philip's island.
I have planned a route which will take us through to Bateman Bay, Braidwood, Goulbourn and back to W'gong. this involved approx. seven hours of riding. which i am planning for spring as Goulborn and Braidwood get pretty cold in winter.
How do you feel about a week end ride to the snowvy mounting?
can that be a reality?How about Jenolan cave? Again it has to be spring/summer/Autumn. How about Bombala?. Scott organized two but none of us could make it. what about a ride to Nabic or Tamworth motorcycle museum. or to Armidale from Nabic again week end trips, so is a trip taking the Puddy rd.
Sorry i wont be able to attend our next meeting but please discuss the rides and report back to me with prefer date that most of you can make it.

my riding tends to be more autumn,winter and spring.two things get in the way of summer. number one is not that comfortable in full leathers and 20 plus degrees, and number two is the grass grows to quickly.make that three,the heat from the bike.BB run is possible during winter,just late return. also possible eden o/nite, boorowa etc,snowys in winter with the ski set would likely see too many flashing lights....discuss at meeting anyway...john ps leaving scott and others down south till spring....is a long time....

I forward a calender of venues to Alex to be discussed at the meeting. iIt is up to the members to decide dates I also propose a weekend away to the snowy in spring/summer including a trip to bilpin on the bell line rd and Katoomba.

How about a cafe run up to Camperdown to check out the retro cafe racers these guys build...check out their website.... Ive seen a couple of their bikes in the flesh at Stanwell Park and they looked great.... ;D. Website www.deus.com.au |

i have been their. it,s a cafe .... that sells clothing..... that just so happens to have a interest in modifying bikes. Triumphs as well.
It's worth a look. And i would go again, as just one Ducati draw a small crowd imagine 10.
