"CLIP ON'S"; most Ducati's have them!!

The clip on on my sport classic are located with a spacer,
a piece of round metal with a hole at one end and a pin on the other. which position them approx 25mm from the top.
for comfort sake I had them removed on delivery of the bike.
In my opinion make sure that both clip on are at a comfortable angle and at the same distance from a fixed point eg triple clamp
and that when you turn lock to lock you don't hit your thumbs on the tank.

999 has a locating pin on clip on,so you cant get it wrong, but can not adjust it either,thought i would try to during early ownership but was unable to without butchering.so rider adjusted to bike instead of other way round.
