G'day,My new bike dies on hills and also doesn't have the get up and go one would expect.I've adjust the timing by advancing it also tuned the carbys but seems to make no difference. The engine has been overhauled some 2 or 3 thousand kms ago so compression is not the answer.I have noticed 2 petrol taps 1 is connected the other is presumably the reserve tank. The bike is a 500 Desmo Sport 1979 with a bad reputation now I know why but all things being equal should go better than it does.

They are fussy old creatures barry but a rewarding ride nonetheless. Enjoy!!!
