Thanks for the help with "Sophia" the other day....after I left the taps on and she slowly but surely emptied almost the entire contents of her petrol tank into her crankcase.......luckily no damage as she wasnt running at the time...so all it cost me was new oil, an filter and a clutch cover gasket and she is back on the road with her Conti's throbbing in my ears....life it good.... ;D ;D

i've been adding a couple of mod's to my ride. should finish this coming weekend. you will hardly reconise her. Tail chop, YSS rear shocks, replaced cluch and break buckets.tail light,hugger etc etc, the list is long. I'll take some photo's and post them when finished.

Hey Thanks Dave...although props go to Nev for doing the Biss...It took a while but the 'rain' cleared and up she come good ;D

I agree we need more pics in the members rides, maybe we should think about nominating a 'photog' on rides if possible...whoever has a small enough camera to fit inside leathers, maybe a group pic and new members rides, that would help promote the club on the website, if it looks like its ever expanding...people migh be more willing to get invloved as opposed to joining a small 'click'

How goes the 900? You know if it runs, turns and stops its ready to ride Dont get hung up over looks...I've riden some smashed bikes before didnt worry me none...different story for those riding around me, good way to phsyc out others ;D.

i d nominate you x as club 'japanese tourist'......but even when you take your camera,you gass bag that much,you forget to take the odd pic !!!!! p.s nev i will email some pics of my ride i took on tuesday,also can i include a pic that you can put as my avatar[[honest john] !!! too techie for us car dealers to work out. thanks

Oooooo japanese tourist, I'll have to get into character and bring my japanese bike ;D.....that might help me take a decent picture .......but know one will want to associate with me .

well we could always nominate judge dredd.im sure he feels more like a tourist sometimes[this doesnt sound right],than a local due to work committments.x ride what you will !!! just not slow. nev,its the second email,first way to big..i said before i was an amateur.

Speaking of slow I was considering entering The Barrack Heights Bomber in DOCNSW club race thing, only I need to work out who can pay for it ;D??

More like Chinese and Thai tourist at the moment lads...Have been on current trip for 10 days and another bloody 4 to go..spend three days in Beijing in the bloody snow...now in Bangkok...and stil in the F#king office at 8.30pm with still another two bloody hours of work ahead of me....I hope it F32king rains while im away as i dont want you buggers having any fun!!!! ;D

That ,s the down side of owing a duke it is hard to ride them slow. But it is getting more more harder to get away with speeding. It is defiantly cheaper to go to a ride day than speed on the road. The only drawback of a race day is the scenery, it is just like a merry go round at high speed.

chewy,[before lunch]o/taking double lines-it was an unmarked ss commodore, then another one as he did the same thing within minutes!!! and minor speed infringe for going above speed limit,so the unmarked gave him three !! i think about $700 odd plus maybe 9ish points !!! late arvo leaving road warriors,96 in 60 zone ! i think $700 and 3mths disqualification........... urio, i understand what your saying,but it was the only one i heard of.all the bikes i seen were jappas,one poor guy was on a little 250 !! with L s! you wouldnt think that would of even got to the speed limit.just as many cars were getting them also.personally i think mine will go into hibernation till after school holidays.to many parties with family and friends,double demerits,january its bloody hot in full leathers !! and taking it off the road for major service[clocked 40 oooks] including belts/chains/sprockets etc etc. hj
