Hello all,
Well the long awaited prices for the first new 2009 models has arrived.
The Monster 1100 will have an introductory price of $18495 plus on road charges of $1500 total OTR $19995.
The Monster 1100S will have the introductory price of $21995 plus on road charges of $2000 total OTR $23995
New superbike 1198S will have the introductory price of $32495 plus on road charges of $2000 total $34495
No price for the 1198 std yet but expect it to be the same price as the out going 1098 or up by $1000 ish
There is still no news on the prices of the street fighter, and all the above prices are subject to change if economic circumstances dictate.
There are still some good deals to be had on 2008 models, until they are all gone.
I was expecting a much larger rise in prices, it is good to see that Ducati and NFI has helped us to keep growing our market share thus enabeling more people to share in the Ducati experiance.
Deano ;D ;D

Black 1198S is on way, but guess what no time scale at present, still in manufacturing I believe, but first come first served. Mulit is far more practicle but Bayliss 1098R has got to be most collectable Ducato for years. Deano

Oh and 1098 multi don't hold your breath - not unless you can hold it for at least 12 months

the new multi.....eh.....you guys should check out the spy picks...1098 motor and off road capability...in fact it has just put a nail in my GS adventure plans...Im now holding my breath......cant justify dropping money on my 1098 to trade up as I've lived without traction control for so long it doesn't matter...and anyhow my bike has better rear suspension and more poniesthan the new release....the Multihyperst is my current desire...will make a nice 50 birthday pressy to myself next year!!!! ;D ;D ;D

I looked at the new 1198s in Black & Red at Homebush last week... Black is disappointing with that bronze frame, not nearly as nice as the red frame...they could've just done it in black as well... Red is OK, suppose next one will be Red, and maybe a new SuperMulti in Black ... gotta keep the red &black ratio just right as the missus knows there is a red one, and a black one.. as for which is which, it doesn't matter, she doesn't know....

Well Well, Lots of interest in the 1098 Multi or should I say Adventure, deposits now being taken, for delivery in 2010.
Launch I think would be at Milan in 2009.
On personal note I hope they keep the 1100 2 valve engined one as well, better fuel economy, cheaper servicing, etc Oh and I hope it has 20 ltr's plus fuel capacity.
